Sheriff: Marine veteran killed 12 in California nightclub before killing self: A 28-year-old Marine veteran who had served in Afghanistan as a machine gunner is suspected of killing 12 people and himself late Wednesday night at a Los Angeles-area nightclub, police and military officials said Thursday.
